Obesity is related to a person’s height and weight to count that person’s body mass. In Pakistan, 58% of people are obese, and 43% of people are facing health issues being patients of Obesity.
What causes obesity?
Some of the factors can have a strong effect on a person’s body which causes it to become obese. The factors may include gender, age, muscle mass, and ethnicity.

There are a couple of dietary and physical techniques with a different blend in the lifestyle, which can help a person overcome obesity rather than torturing your body through extensive and costly surgeries or medicines. Even though a good prescription can also do wonders but to get rid of obesity you have to follow a healthy lifestyle.

Obesity is considered as one of the complex diseases and to get out of the hurl of obesity, you don’t only need to fall prey to medicines only but exercises and a better dietary routine will also put you in a more fitted shape.

In medicine, the treatments of Obesity are either through surgery or by medicines. Following are some of the measures which can be taken regarding the treatment of obesity.
- Surgery for weight loss:
It is also called bariatric surgery, and it is done on the obese patient to make alterations to the stomach to make it thinner and smaller. This surgery includes cutting a portion of the stomach and it is done one the patients with BMI (Body Mass Index) of 30.0 up to 35.0. However, there are certain conditions for this type of surgery as it comes with negative outcomes.
- Medication:
Medication can also help in obesity if you are trying to lose weight, however, again, the prescription should be suitable for your body. Therefore, the patients of obesity shouldn’t take whatever medicines for weight loss are available in the market or have been prescribed to another body type.
- Tweaking Lifestyle:
Lifestyle change can go a long way if you stay consistent with your diet and exercise. Lifestyle can be altered to make it healthier in a variety of ways such as:
- Change your eating habits. Don’t eat while you are watching.
- Your fridge can never be filled with enough fruits, vegetables, and juices.

Some of the most beneficial ways which people adopt while curing their obesity include jogging, cycling, swimming, climbing stairs, etc. In addition to that, any physical sport can help you lose weight more healthily.
- Dietary techniques:
